Mrs. McGill was born March 15, 1917, in Brigham City, a daughter of Grover and Bessie Irene Isakson Jensen. She had resided in Ogden since 1941.
She was married to George V. Montgomery. They were later divorced. On March 15, 1947, whe was married to Lawrence I. McGill Sr. in Ogden.
She had been employed as a timekeeper for the Ogden Arsenal for nine years. For the past three years she was a receiving clerk at J.C. Penney Co. She was a member of the Twenty-third Ward.
Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Marie) Silvis, Ft. Bragg, Calif.; Mrs Harvey (Patricia Irene) Mitchell, Ukiah, Calif.; six grandchildren, one brother, Grover DeWight Jensen, Salt Lake City; her grandmother, Mrs. Meda Jensen, Salt Lake City; an aunt with whom she formerly resided, Mrs. Lula Sergent, Salt Lake City.
Funeral services will be announced by Lindquest and Sons Colonial Chapel.

McGill-Funeral services for Doris Irene McGill, wife of Lawrence I. McGill Sr., will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Lindquist and Sons Colonial Funeral Chapel with Bishop Milo Nilson of the Twenty-second Ward officiating. Friends may call at the mortuary this evening from 7 to 9 and Wednesday prior to services. Interment in the Brigham City Cemetery.
