Harry first appeared in the 1870 census, living in Winfield, Butler County, Pennsylvania with parents Francis and Jane and siblings Martha E. [7], William [4], Jefferson [2] and Margaret A. [8 mos.]. In 1880, the family remained in Winfield and 2 more children had been born into the family, John M. {8} and James [1].

On January 21, 1892, in Butler County, Pennsylvania, Harry married Phoebe Neal Campbell and in 1900, they were living in Neville, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, where Harry worked as a carpenter.

By 1910, Harry and Phoebe had relocated to Orlando, Orange County, Florida, where Harry worked in manufacturing. In 1920, they live in Coshocton, Coshocton County, Ohio, where Harry worked as a cooper in the pottery industry.

Harry died in his rocking chair at home in Coshocton on July 14, 1925.
