Mrs. Dora Martin
I was born in 1885 and I am the former Dora Melton. I married William Goodman in 1902. Mr. Goodman worked on the railroad at Loretto under the supervision of John Green and Cap Whitworth. We were the parents of four children.
We left Loretto in 1920 and moved to Huntsville, Alabama where both my husband and I were employed in a cotton mill. We later bought a farm and lived there until he passed away on March 3, 1953.
I then married Henry Zosel who died on November 2, 1963. I then married Robert Martin. I am 83 years of age and will be 84 on June 2nd of this year.
I have had a hard time but the Lord has blessed me. I can walk to town and around the places I want to go. I do my housework and can attend my laundering. I praise God for everything he has done for me.
