Rhoton O. Cashion
Rhoton O. Cashion, 90, of Bardwell passed away Monday, Jan. 27, 2003 at his residence.
Services were 10 a.m. today at Keever Chapel with the Rev. Lloyd Cashion officiating. Interment followed at Elm Branch Cemetery in Bardwell.
Mr. Cashion was born March 6, 1912 in Crisp to John C. and Della Mae Anderson Cashion. He was raised in Crisp where he attended school. On Aug. 11, 1934, he married Helen M. Ray. After their marriage they lived in Crisp. In 1947, they moved to Bardwell where he engaged in farming for over 40 years. He spent his life doing what he loved, farming. He retired in 1977. He was a member of Bardwell Church of Christ and was a 51-year member of the Masonic Lodge No. 1054 in Bardwell.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Helen Cashion of Bardwell; sons and daughters-in-law, Grady and Kathy Cashion of Blooming Grove, Lloyd and Pat Cashion of Mount Pleasant and Kenneth and Judy Cashion of Avalon; four granddaughters, two grandsons, two great-granddaughters, seven great-grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews.
