Obituary: The funerals of the dead firemen who died while fighting the blaze on Saturday all took place yesterday; William Kelly, at 8 o'clock, Edward Parker at 9 o'clock, and those of David Love and Thomas Cooling at 1 o'clock. The bells at the different engine houses were kept tolling all morning.

Thomas Cooling was unmarried, a young man of worth and the idol of his family, already afflicted by the illness of his father, Captain Cooling, of the Fours, who fourteen weeks since was hurt seriously in the performance of his duties as fireman. The young man was but twenty-five years old, and two years younger than his neighbor and fellow victim Love, and was employed by the Bell Telephone Company.

The face and person were so much burned that the case was sealed before the remains were taken to his father's house and the friends did not see them. The body was encased in a beautiful metallic casket, painted an imitation of rosewood, and heavy silver ornaments. Flowers were laid upon the casket, the gift of Mr. Seely, of the Telephone Company, and other friends.
