Mrs. Marian C. Bolliger
Abilene-Mrs. Marion C. bolliger, 74, Route 3, Abilene, died Saturday, Oct. 20, at her home.She had spent her married life farming south of Abilene.She was born on Sept. 12, 1910, in Abilene, the daughter of Henry and Florence Southworth Cobert.Mrs. Bolliger attended Abilene High School and Salina Business College. She was a member of the Grace United Church of Christ and the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 111.
She married Gerald Bolliger on Oct. 10, 1934 in Abilene. He survives of the home.Other survivors include a son, Covert Bolliger, Abilene; a daughter, Mrs. Martha Beemer, Abilene; a sister, Mrs. Carolyn Runyon, Denver, Colo.; and 11 grandchildren.Services will be at 2 p.m. wednesday at Martin Funeral Home Abilene. Burial will be in Abilene Cemetery. Friends may call at Martin Funeral Home until service time Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Abilene Hospice program and the American Cancer Society.
