MONTICELLO - Funeral
services for Mrs. Martha Jane
Bell. 80, will be at 2 p.m.
Tuesday at the Miller-Voorhis
Funeral Home.
She died at 1:45 p.m. Saturday
at St. Elizabeth Hospital,
Lafayette.
Born Aug. 4, 1897, in White
County, she was the daughter of
Thomas and Clara Martin
Heidrick. She was married
Sept. 24, 1919, to Frank
(Cooney) Bell, who died June
16,1940.
A resident of Monticello and
White County all her life, Mrs.
Bell was a member of the
Methodist Church, Royal
Neighbors Lodge and American
Legion Auxiliary, all at Monticello.
She was a former
resident of 617 S. Main St. here
but had lived the past five years
at the Indiana Veterans Home,
Lafayette.
Nieces, nephews, great nieces
and great-nephews
survive. Three children
preceded her in death.
The Rev. Donald Ashley will
officiate at the services. Burial
will be in the Davis Cemetery,
Burnettsville.
Friends may call from 4 to 9
p.m. Monday. The Royal Neighbors
Lodge will have rites at 8
p.m. Monday.
