He was born to Genevieve and George Kellogg. He lived in Nebraska until moving to California following his parents divorce. He graduated from Ramona High School in 1962 and attended Riverside Community College. He married his high school sweetheart Valarie (Cifu) on January 23, 1965.
David was employed by Tri-City Linen as a route driver for several years. He worked in the Uniform and Linen supply business for 45 years. During that time he received several promotions and recognitions for excellence.
David enjoyed scuba diving as a young man, building parade floats, model train layouts, elaborate haunted houses and Christmas displays for which he was recognized in local newspapers.
He enjoyed crafting, genealogy, model railroading, travel, weekend getaways with his wife, and spending time with his family. He was an active member of the YMCA organization, Indian Guides and Princesses, Boy Scouts, Pop Warner football, Little league, bowling leagues, PTA, and achieved a high rank in the Elks Club.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 48 years Valarie, three children Rick Kellogg, Kristine (David)Kellogg-Wedig, and Kimberly Falor. Six grandchildren, Alexander, Kyle, Logan, Cameron, Erik, and Derek.
David's family will miss him every second of every day until the day they are all together again.
