Thompson was born in Wolbach on August 2, 1907. He had lived in Grand Island prior to moving to North Platte.
Funeral services were held on Monday at North Platte in the Methodist Church.
The deceased is a brother of Mrs. Cecil Sample, who is at present in Dallas, Texas with her son, Melvin and family.
