Ted Jarzyna, widely known in high school and athletic circles, was a student and a friend to all at Bay View High School. His vigor, energy and contagious humor were known by students and teachers alike, and he gave of these generously during his high school days. He sparked not only the football team but the baseball team, pep rallies and the school in general. It is indicative that he had recalled at his most memorable moment the night he caught a touchdown pass in a game against East Division High School. It was with this zest that he entered the game November 2, 1962. Life to Ted was a constant adventure. Every season was a challenge and the end of life another doorway through which he could fearlessly enter. Rest in Peace.
