Samuel Adams, 88, of Girta, Wirt County, died at the home of his son, Riley Adams, Belpre, Ohio, Sunday evening at 7 o'clock. His wife, Mary Adams, preceded him in death two years ago.
Surviving are three sons, Riley at whose home he died; Burl of Chicago, Illinois, and George Adams of Zanesville, O., and two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Scipio of Belpre, and Mrs. Jessie Mayle of Girta.
Funeral services were conducted at the Nutter cemetery with Pomroy Funeral Home in charge.
