Norwich, Jan. 26,- At the Masonic Home in Utica, Monday, occurred the death of Nelson Cady, a former well known resident of this village, aged 81. Deceased was for years engaged in the blacksmith business here. He was a member of Otsteningo Lodge F.& A.M., of Binghamton, and had been a Mason 58 years. For the past nine years he had been at the Masonic Home in Utica. He is survived by two grandchildren, Arthur F. Arrow, of Binghamton, and Mrs. E.B.Harring, of Oradell, N.J., both formerly of this place. The remains were brought to Norwich Tuesday and the funeral was held Thursday morning. Norwich Lodge, F. & A.M., conducting the service. The master of the Binghamton Lodge was present. [Utica Saturday Glob, January 27, 1906]
