MUNSON, Beda Katrina, age 92 of 3073 Aldergrove Road, Ferndale, passed away Friday, January 30, 1981. She had been a resident of Whatcom County for 74 years and the Aldergrove Community for 59 years where she shared her home and hospitality with family, relatives, neighbors and friends.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and a charter member of the Aldergrove Sunshine Club.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Peter, and two daughters, Elsie Holmes, and Alyce Whalen.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Anna McCrary of Seattle; Minnie and husband Victor Linde of Ferndale; Clara and husband Clarence Long of Ferndale; 1 son Herbert of Laurel; a son-in-law, Wesley Whalen of Ferndale; a brother Jonas Selander of Sweden; and a sister Klara Anderson of Sweden; 18 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted by Bishop C. Leroy Schenk Tuesday, Feb 3, 1981 at 1:30 pm in Moles Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Enterprise Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Lynden Christian Rest Home.
