Funeral services for John F. Patten, 84, of Miami, Ariz., will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Peters Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Patten died Friday in Globe, Ariz.

He was born May 4, 1904, in Alba, to Loyd and Bettie Foster Patten. He was a retired oil field boilerman.

Survivors include two sons, John L. Patten of Garland and Billy Joe Patten of Dallas; three daughters, Ilona McCain of New Orleans, Brenda Jones of Houston and Margie Moore of Richardson; four sisters, Donna Fowler of Campbell, Gladys Watson of Arlington, Maurine Strickland of Tahoka and Mildred Beasley of Lewisville; and 13 grandchildren.

Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery. Rev. Louise Welch will officiate.
