RONCEVERTE - Horace Andrew Brown, 72, of Ronceverte died July 20, 1998, in a Fairlea hospital after a long illness.
He was a member of Ronceverte Christian Church and was retired from ABB with 25 years of service.
Surviving: wife, Leona J. Massie Brown; daughters, Carolyn Rudd of Ronceverte, Phyllis Brown of Lewisburg, Tenn., Cindy White of Beckley; sons, Andrew "Jinks" Brown and Keith Brown, both of Ronceverte, Jeff Brown of Athens, Ala., Tim Brown of Meadow Bridge; sisters, Marie Deaver of Lewisburg, Wilma Reynolds of Frankford; brothers, Willard Brown of Mabscott, James Brown of New York, Franklin Brown of Yankton, S.D.; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Service will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Longanacre Funeral Home, Fairlea, with minister Julian Grubb and minister Ron Abshire officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Ronceverte. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Ronceverte Christian Church Building Fund or Beni Kedem Temple, Charleston.
