Charlotte Yvonne Cox, 67, of Sullivan County, N.Y., died at her son's
residence in Eufaula, Ala.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in New York, according to
McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Cox was born November 12, 1937 in Sullivan County, N.Y., daughter of the
late Clarence Abplanalp and Edith Eronimus Abplanalp. She was a retired
Postmaster. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard William 'Bunny'
Cox.
She is survived by her children: Wayne Cox of Apple Valley, Calif., Bernie and
Dot Dot Cox of Eufaula, Ala., Cheryl and Frank Russell of Clemmons, N.C. and
Cameron Abplanalp of Cochecton Center, N.Y.; sister, Delores and Ralph Boone
of Binghamton, N.Y.; brother, Leonard Abplanalp of Sullivan, N.Y.;
grandchildren: Jake and Crystal Cox of Eufaula, Ala., Nicholas Russell of
Clemmons, N.C., Christina Russell of Clemmons, N.C., and Jaimie Cox of
Eufaula, Ala.; great-grandchild, Carson Cox of Eufaula, Ala.; and several
nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wiregrass Hospice, 831 West
Washington St., Eufaula, AL 36027.
