Devoted and loving wife of Vern for 67 years, and most caring mother of 7 children, 14 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. What a wonderful woman! 'Always abounding in the work of the Lord' (1 Cor. 15:58), and the selfless giving of herself to her family and to countless others. She was born and raised in New York City where she met the love of her life as he was on his way with the fighting 69th to defeat the Nazis during World War II. They married after the war and after having two children they moved to California where they raised the rest of their family. They eventually moved to Clear Lake where they spent many happily retired years together and where Mary continued to teach Bible classes to little children even at the age of 85. She will be greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege and the honor of knowing her, and she will always be remembered as the greatest of spouses, mothers, and grandmothers. Friends are welcome for visitation Wed., Aug. 21 from 4-8PM with a Rosary Vigil at 6:30PM at PRICE FUNERAL CHAPEL (6335 Sunrise Blvd., 725-2109) and are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial 10:30AM at CALVARY CATHOLIC CEMETERY (7101 Verner Ave., Sacramento).
