Avice Lee Allred passed away March 13, 2013 in Lake Havasu City, at the age of 80. She was born Sept. 12, 1932, in Catawba, N.C., to Coy Jones and Mary Lou (Bryson).
Avice worked as a banker and has made Arizona her home for the last 38 years; she also attended the Lakeview Community Church. A few of Avice's passions were collecting rocks, the outdoors, ATVs, picking wild flowers, spending time with her family, sewing, crocheting and helping others.
Avice is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Robert Allred, of Lake Havasu City; sons, William Allred, of Galveston, Texas, and Douglas Allred, of Lake Havasu City; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home on Thursday, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Dale Ray offering words of comfort. Visitation is Wednesday, starting at 6 p.m.
Donations can be made in Avice's name to Lakeview Community Church.
