John Frank Blahnik was born on May 17, 1894 in Casco, WI. His parents were Thomas (1862-1916) and Anna (Kostka) 1866-1948 Blahnik. He was the fifth of ten children born to this farming family. His WWI draft registration sais he was tall, medium build with gray eyes and black hair. He was doing his own farming in 1917.
John married Matilda (Tillie) M. Bauer (1896-1996) on Aug 26, 1924 in Stangelville, WI. They had six children; Lorraine Cotter 1925, John Jr. 1927-1996, Arlene Mauer, Eleanor O'Hair 1930-2006, Grace Witte and Bernice Anhalt 1938-2009. In his WWII draft registratin he owned his own farm on R #3 in Casco, WI.
John died on June 27, 1972. His wife lived until the age of 100 dying in 1996.
