Memorial services for Alma Dohmen, age 97, of Creighton, will be held Monday 2:30 p.m. at Brockhaus Funeral Home in Creighton. Father Keith Rezac will be the celebrant.
Alma died Friday Feb. 29, 2008, at Creighton Area Health Services at the age of 97.
Alma Dohmen, daughter of Ray and Josephine (Carlson) Elwood, was born December 15, 1910, at home in rural Creighton. She attended rural country school. On October 2, 1935, she was married to Andrew F. Dohmen at St. Ludger Catholic Church in Creighton. One child was born to them, Duane. She lived in the Creighton area farming and operating businesses in Creighton.
She was a member of St. Ludger Catholic Church in Creighton.
She is survived by her daughter in law, Jackie, of Creighton; 4 grandsons, Curt and Taryn Dohmen and Kelly and Beth Dohmen, all of Creighton, Craig and Cindy Dohmen of Plainview, NE, and Scott and Angela Dohmen of Eden Prairie, MN; and 9 great grandchildren.
Alma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Andrew; her son, Duane; a sister, Doris; and a brother, Marvin, Sr.
