Velma Moorehead Grisham, 90, formerly of 463 Pink Dill Mill Road, died August 19, 2013 at Magnolia Place.
A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late John Carl and Mary Frances Edwards Moorehead, she was a retired employee of Southern Bell after 35 years of service, delivered meals for Greer Community Ministries, and was a member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Becky G. and Gerris Corley of Greer; two brothers and sister-in-law, Jake Moorehead of Greenville and Maxie and Billie Moorehead of Simpsonville; two grandchildren, Jonny Corley (Alyson) and Josh Corley (Andrea); and two great-grandchildren, Bradley Sudduth and Sarah Corley.
Mrs. Grisham was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Doris Moorehead.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Lebanon Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Mark Smith and Rev. Ted Conwell. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held 3:00-3:45 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
The family is at the home of her daughter, Becky Corley.
