Funeral services were held Saturday, June 5, at 3 p.m. at Popular Log Free Will Baptist Church with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Bro. W.O Miller and Bro. Tommy Vernon were the officiating ministers.
Mrs. Armstrong was a lifelong resident of Marion County. She is survived by her husband, Homer Armstrong, Hamilton; one son - Hollis Armstrong, Hamilton; 2 grandsons; her father - Mr. J.W. Spruiell, Hamilton; 2 sisters - Mrs. Hazel Post, Hamilton and Mrs. Dean Harris, Winfield; one brother - Eugene Spruiell, Memphis, Tenn.
