James A. Luiz, 37, of Wethersfield, beloved husband of Susan (Belliveau) Luiz, died Thursday, (April 20, 2000) at Hartford Hospital. He was born in Hartford, son of Joseph G. and Fausta (Leopoldino) Luiz of Niantic, and has lived in the area all of his life. He was employed by Bankers Life and Casuality of West Springfield, MA. Besides his wife and parents, he leaves a step son, Ian Bochain; and a daughter, Chelsea Luiz, both at home; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Tammy Luiz ofGlastonbury, Gary and Kim Luiz of Newington; a sister and brother-in-law, LouAnn and John Campanello of Rocky Hill; his maternal grandmother, Maria Ilda Leopoldino of Newington; his mother-in-law, Arlene Belliveau of Florida; and many more adoring family members and friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 25, 9:15 a.m. from the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield, with a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. in the Church of the Incarnation, Wethersfield. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Friends may call Monday, April 24, 6-9 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
