Glenda Rinehart Berkshire 87, of Greenwood, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away October 23, 2008. She was born September 1, 1921 to Archie and Sadie (Deckard) Rinehart who have preceded her in death. She was employed by the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) for 39 years, retiring as an executive assistant in the general office in 1983. She was also an active member of the P. E. O. Sisterhood. Services will be Saturday October 25, 2008 at Shirley Brothers Irving Hill Chapel, 5377 E. Washington St., with calling there from 12:00 to 1:00 pm before the service at 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Endowment Fund of Irvington Presbyterian Church, 55 Johnson Avenue, Indianapolis, of which she was a member and an elder. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Ben Berkshire.
