DEATH OF MRS GOODWYN
Sister of Dr Taylor Succumbs to Pneumonia
Last night about 11 o'clock, Mrs Sally Coles Goodwin, widow of the late John T Goodwin, died at her home in this city after an illness of two weeks of pneumonia.
Mrs Goodwin was a daughter of the late B F Taylor and Sally W Taylor, and was a sister of Dr B W Taylor and Col Thomas Taylor of Columbia and Mrs Mazyck of Charleston. She leaves only one child, Miss Sally Coles Goodwin.
Mrs Goodwin was born here on March 16, 1827, and has spent all of her life in Columbia.
She was a member of the Episopal church, and always connected herself with the Sunday school and chapters of her church. She was universally beloved and esteemed.
The funeral service will be held at noon tomorrow at Trinity church.

Funeral of Mrs Goodwyn
The funeral services of the late Mrs Sally Coles Goodwyn were held at Trinity church yesterday at noon. The church was well filled with sorrowing friends of the deceased lady ad the family and there were many beautiful floral tributes. The services were conducted by the rector at the church, Rev Churchill Satterlee. The interment was in Trinity churchyard.
The pallbearers were as follows:
Honorary-John A Crawford, R W Shand, Alex C Haskell, C K Singleton, W H Manning, and D Gambrill.
Active-Tucker Flaher, John Taylor, McD Hampton, Allen Jones, Julius H Walker and W H Gibbes, Jr.
