   BURRELL -- At Victoria Public Hospital, Fredericton, March 7, 1976, Thomas Delbert Burrell of McAdam; survived by his wife, two daughters, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one sister, one brother, several nieces and nephews.

    Resting at S. O. Mehan and Sons Funeral Home, 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, until Monday when the body will be taken to his residence, Rockland Drive, McAdam from where funeral service will be held to St. Paul's United Church, Wednesday at 4 p.m. Entombment in Rockland Cemetery Vault to await interment in the spring.

    Funeral service was held for Delbert Thomas Burrell of McAdam, at St. Paul's United Church in McAdam.

   Pallbearers were Arthur Estey, Robert Miller, William Yerxa, Carl Roberts, Douglas Thorburn and Roy Stannix.

    Mr Burrell died at Victoria Public Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Harvey Station in 1899, he was a son of the late Thomas and Jane (Patterson) Burrell. In 1902, he moved to McAdam, where he has lived since.

  He was employed with the Canadian Pacific Railway for nearly 50 years and retired as a section foreman in 1963.

    He was a member of St. Paul's United Church, the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees, the McAdam Senior Citizens Club and was for many years an active member of LOL No. 72.

    He is survived by his wife, the former Alice Lindsay; two daughters, Mrs Carl McLaggan (Joyce), Fredericton and Mrs Ian Gaynor (Eileen), McAdam; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a brother, Odbur, McAdam; and a sister, Mrs Jennie Kaine, Passamaquoddy Lodge, St. Andrews; as well as nieces and nephews.

    Entombment was in Rockland Cemetery Vault with burial at a later date.

  He married Alice Annie Lindsay, 11 Jun 1924 in St. Stephen. Born 26 Apr 1904 in Vanceboro, Maine. Died 10 Sep 1983 in DECH, Fredericton. Buried in Rockland Cemetery, McAdam.
