Bob was born (1916/7) and raised in Rising Star, Texas and was the son of Thomas Jefferson Nunnally and Frances Elizabeth Montgomery Nunnally. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He was in the banking business for many years starting out at First National Bank of Rising Star from 1946 to 1949 before moving to Abilene and working with Citizens Bank until his retirement in 1982. Bob was a longtime member of Woodlawn Church of Christ.
Bob had three great loves, God, family and country. He enjoyed gardening and fishing, was an avid rock collector and a talented fiddler. In his early years he enjoyed flying but it can be said that getting married "grounded" him, since he gave it up shortly after marrying Joy Morrow on June 16, 1947.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Joy Nunnally of Abilene; his daughters, Tevyan Condra and husband Larry, Poette Wadley and husband Jimmy, Tai Cartwright and husband Troy all of Abilene, and Lark Nunnally of Granbury; 11 grandchildren who lovingly called him "Pippaw," Timber Condra, Blake Condra, Brazos Condra, Tahj Mayes, Tryon Condra, Stetson Wadley, Aelis Kee, Talan Cobb, Lyric Bailey, Dakota Cartwright and Brooklyn Cartwright; 19 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His parents, three brothers, Ray, Alton and Gale Nunnally and two sisters, Ruby Bailey and Geneva Wallace preceded him in death.
The family would like to thank Kinder Hearts Home Health for their tender loving care during Bob's illness.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Southern Concepts, Inc., 900 Whitehead RD. Granbury, Tx 76048
