Carlton Lee Bucher passed away on March 14, 2011, in Toledo, Ohio at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Carlton married Leona in 1949 and raised four beautiful children. After his World War II army discharge, Carlton started work as an assistant cashier at Whitehouse State Savings Bank and worked his way up to be the bank president. After several mergers, Carlton was a vice president of Ohio Citizen's and then National City Bank until his retirement in 1983 after 37 years. Carlton was a 63-year Mason as well as Village of Whitehouse Past Council Member and President, and a Life Member of the Whitehouse American Legion Post #384. Surviving are his children, Jim (Georgia) Bucher, Jeff (Ellen) Bucher, Janine (Scott) Lindhurst, Joe (Claudia) Bucher; grandchildren, Jenny (Johnny) Isola, Angie (Howie) Castellucio, Eric Bucher, Josh (Jamie) Bucher, Chad (Stacie) Baumbarger, Erin (Aaron) Cromly, Wade Bucher, Marc (Charlotte) Baumbarger, and Olivia Bucher; Ken and Amy Siwa, Joel and Buffy McConnell, Jeremy and Jennifer McConnell and John and Stephanie McConnell; great- grandchildren, Brandon Isola, Alexis McConnell, Morgan Isola, Makenzie Isola, Bailey McConnell, Brock Isola, Grace Bucher, Eva Bucher, Clare Cromly, Adeline Cromly, Elizabeth Cromly, Mae Cromly and Deliah Bucher; Ava, Charley, Francesca and Kenny Siwa and Brandon, Dillon and Conner McConnell. Carlton was preceded in death by his wife, Leona Bucher; parents, Frederick and Loretta Bucher; his sisters, Iola Bucher and Thelma Thomas and his brother, Milton Bucher.
