FULTON, Ky., Nov. 23 - Paul DeMeyer, former mayor and member of the city council here, died at 10:40 p. m. at Jones Clint here after a long illness.
Mr. DeMeyer served for three successive terms as mayor ending in 1942. He then served four years as a member of the council.
He was In the grocery business here for years but had retired and was living on his farm east of Fulton.
His wife, Mr. Luna French DeMeyer, died four month ago as the result of an automobile accident in downtown Fulton.
Survivors Include a daughter. Miss Paula DeMeyer, three sisters, Mrs. Lola Workman, Cayce: Mr. Lucy Utley, Senath, Mo., and Mrs. Olivia Edwards, Fulton.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Friday at the First Baptist church with the Rev. L. D. Ferrell and the Rev. C. H, Warren officiating.
Whltnell funeral home will be in charge of the service. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery.
