Born Sarah Zukerman in Vilna, Lithuania in May of 1872. Sarah married Abraham Beineson in 1888 in Vilna when they were about 15 years old. Her first child, Rachel, follows soon after. They came to the US and settled in Manhattan, N.Y. They had nine children(seven living) by 1907. In 1900 Sarah said she had given birth to six but only four were living. Those six seemed to have been born in Vilna and then three more while living in Manhattan. Sarah was widowed in 1907 while pregnant with their ninth child. Eight years later Abraham's sister Yenta passed away leaving her husband, Kalman Lieberman a widow with four small children. The widow and widower married and blended the family of 11 living children in Michigan. Kalman and Sarah were both buried in Michigan.
