Austin Tyler Higdon, the one-year-old son of Tyler Jade and Chantel Webb Higdon of Jacksonville, died Friday, March 28, 2003, in Little Rock.

He was born March 22, 2002, in Palmer, Alaska. He was of the Baptist faith.

Higdon was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Timothy Higdon.

He is survived by his parents, Tyler and Chantel Higdon of Jacksonville; his maternal grandparents, Bobby, Jr. and Susie Webb of Piggott; his paternal grandmother, Becky Billips of Corning; his aunt, Millicent Webb of Piggott; an uncle and his wife, Shannon and Tammy Higdon of Piggott; his maternal great-grandparents, Mary and Julius Renfro, Eithel Webb and Bob Webb, Sr., all of Piggott; his maternal great-great-grandmother, Juanita Rogers of Illinois; his paternal great-grandfathers, Max Rogers and Bruce Thrasher of Piggott; his cousins, Hunter Higdon and Shianne Higdon; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, March 30, in the Irby Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Hancock officiating. Burial followed in the Piggott Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Darrin Moore, Jerry Wade Morgan, Brian James, and Chad Beck. Honorary pallbearers were Shannon Higdon, Chris Simpson, J.P. McComb, and Blaine Howell.

Irby Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
