AKEMAN Gladys M., 89, of OKC, passed away Jan. 10, 1994. Mrs. Akeman was born to William and Margaret Tuckwiller on Apr. 2, 1904, in Saline Co., Mo. In 1926 she married her husband, Emerson Akeman. She was a member of Penn Avenue Methodist Church for over 50 years, and was also a member of Eastern Star and the D.A.R. Members of her family are her son and his wife, William and Shirley Akeman; grandsons, David Akeman, and Roger Akeman and his wife, Wendy, of Tulsa; granddaughter, Elisabeth Akeman. She will also be greatly missed by her many dear friends.
Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, 1994, in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will immediately follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
