La Crosse -- Hazel L. Herrman, 98, died Aug. 15, 2005, at Rush County Memorial Hospital Long Term Care, La Crosse. She was born Sept. 23, 1906, in Rush County, the daughter of John Palmer and Hester Elizabeth Mosher Renner.

A lifelong resident of Rush County, she was a homemaker. She belonged to St. Michael's Catholic Church, La Crosse.

In March 1924, she married Arthur "Pete" Dreany. He died in 1949. On Feb. 2, 1955, she married Rudolph "Whitey" Herrman at Santa Rosa, N.M. He died April 29, 1992.

Survivors include: a sister, Marjorie Crook, Garden City; and numerous, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and Harley Renner; and two sisters, Ethel Baker and Gladys Crook.

Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Janousek Funeral Home Chapel, La Crosse, with Father Ultan Murphy presiding. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Interment will be in La Crosse City Cemetery.
