Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday. Visiting at the funeral home chapel 9 a.m. until religious services at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Basil Wicker. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by wife, Lois M. Boyd; a daughter and son-in-law, Pearl B. and James H. McBunch, Slaughter; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Earl R. and Janet M. Boyd, Slaughter, and Carl "Ed" Boyd, Zachary; a sister, Nadine B. Dunaway, Watson; two brothers, L.V. Boyd, Lincoln County, and C.W. Boyd, Denham Springs; 10 grandchildren,14 great-grandchildren and three
great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a sister and numerous brothers. Pallbearers will be David Baudouin Jr., Brandon Peters, Earl Ralph Boyd Jr., Glynn Bordelon, Jeff McMills, David Baudouin Sr., Jimmy Hayes and Darby Baudouin. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Zachary.
