Claudia Hudson died in childbirth with her second child. The date of her death is unknown at this time, but it is thought that she died in the 1920s -- possibly about 1926 or 1927. She was living in Indiana at the time of her death. She was returned to Owen County, KY, for her funeral, and she is buried at The New Columbus Cemetery (aka Fairview) on KY State Rt 607. She is buried on the same lot with her parents - James L. and Mary Catherine Hudson - her sister, Nora Hudson, and her brother "Bert" or "Ethelbert" Hudson. Her grave is near the stone wall that runs across the front of the cemetery, but there is no tombstone. ~ Geraldine Hudson Green, Claudia Hudson's niece, personal interview, August 27, 2001.
