Born October 10, 1932, in Evanston to Peter and Josephine Dewpe Sesterhenn, she married Elmer Green on Dec. 1, 1951, in Chicago. He died Sept. 5, 1997.
One daughter, Nancy, three brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Donald of Magnolia and Paul of San Diego; two daughters, Diane Lyse of Mundelein and Patricia Leighton of Chicago; and three grandchildren.
She lived in rural Magnolia for the past 14 years.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Henry Funeral Home, downtown chapel, Henry. The Rev. Jan Proeber will officiate.
Visitation will be one hour before services at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Lacon Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to any charity.
