Billy Lee Glover, age 74, of Portland, passed away June 16, 2012, at Sumner Regional Medical Center. He was born in Sumner County on August 3, 1937, to the late William and Ruby Graves Glover. Billy served in the U.S. Army and was the Gas Department Superintendent for the City of Portland. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Glover; and sister, Eva Nell Glover. He is survived by his son, Brian (Sandra) Glover of Portland; daughters, Brenda Traughber and Janet D. Voursney, both of Portland; sister, Lola Hartung of Portland; brothers, Harold Glover of Antioch and Glen Glover of Portland; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild. Visitation is 5 p.m., until 9 p.m., Sunday, June 17, 2012, and after 10 a.m., Monday. Funeral service is 3 p.m., Monday, June 18, 2012, at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Streszoff and Rev. Alex Jackson officiating. Interment is at Old Brush Cemetery . Pallbearers are Mike Key, Danny Ladd, Chris Glover, Jr., and Austin Rigsby.
