Lewis C. Board, age 74, of passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at his residence in St. Charles.
He was born September 10, 1938 in Fisk, Missouri, the son of Curtis and Ollie (nee Andrews) Board.
He was united in marriage to Ofelia Soto on February 19, 1956 in Hernando, Mississippi.
Lewis was the owner and operator of House Speciality Exterminating Co. in St. Charles for 44 years. He was a dog lover, greatly enjoyed his music and tinkering in his garage.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Ofelia of St. Charles; his children Terry Board of Oregon; Patrick Board of St. Charles, Dana (Kevin) Pasholk of Elgin, grandchildren, Shannon, Amanda, Molly, Julie, Andrew, and Chloe Board, Rory, Beau, Colby, and Wesley Pasholk, great grandchildren, Emma, Max, Jackson, Joey, Dimitric, and Kobe; great-grandchildren, Kostyan, Finley, and Violet; great-great grandson, Carter; siblings, Paul (Dolly) Board, Bill (Kathy) Board, Mary (Delmer) Cross, Dorothy (Dean) Ham, Barbara Liethe, Dan (Marie) Board, Jack (Melba) Board, Shirley (Jim) Leslie, and Bob (Anna) Board; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
In addition to his parents, Lewis was preceded in death by his sons Michael and Carroll Board: his brothers, John, James, and Patrick Board; two brothers in infancy; his granddaughter, Jennifer Wyatt; and a nephew, Chris Garza.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Bethany Lutheran Church, 8 S. Lincoln in Batavia. Interment will be private in Ash Hill Cemetery in Fisk, Missouri.
