Jonathon was fourth child of 10 to Joseph Yeck (Josef Jeck) and Barbara Boocher. Jon's father came from Zeningen, Aargau, Switzerland.

Jon's father is buried at Fairview Cemetery aka West Liberty Cem., Tw'p, Logan Co., Ohio. His mother is buried at Lewiston Cem., Washington. Tw'p, Logan Co., Ohio.

Jonathon was married three times: Catharine Amanda Mopps, Susannah Smith and Mary Ann Mopps.

He and Catharine had 5 children. Three names is all I know: Dora Anna Elizabeth, Lewis William and Alice Belle.

Jonathan and Susannah had 10 children: Viola Amanda, Martha Lucinda "Mattie" Hickman, Edward James, Miles Oscar, Calvin, Conklin, Samuel Emmett, Joseph Gideon, Alida Blanche Wright, Logan Guy. I put the girls's with their marriage names.

There's pictures of him and a long beard. One pictures it has his son from first marriage and some sons from the second marriage.

He died from Asthma at the age of 93 years old.
