Ruth was amazingly talented woman who loved all things beautiful. She was a professional ballerina in her youth who also sang like an angel and played the piano. During World War II, she became a dress designer and extraordinary seamstress, a talent she used for those she loved throughout her life. She was also an accomplished interior decorator, painter and jewelry artist.
Ruth was the cherished daughter of the late George & Ruby Knapp,
beloved wife of the late R. Paul Ivy,
honored mother of Christine (Norman) Patterson, Debra (Stephen) Sheridan and Paula (Terry) Doyle.
Grandmother of Julie (Michael) Ford, Elizabeth (Reid) Swanson, Michael (Jessica) Sheridan and Katie Sheridan.
Great- grandmother of eight. We know she now has her greatest desire, to be forever with her beloved Paul.
