She was born in Wareham, the daughter of Charles and Betsy M. (Bump) Franklin. She was married to Abner C. Taber who died in 1939. Mrs. Taber who had been in ill health for some time was 87 years old. Death occurred at her home on Marion Road, Wareham.
She was a past member Degree of Pocahontas and a past member of the American Legion Auxillary.
Survivors are three sons; Abner, William F. and Bert F. Taber or Wareham; a daughter, Mrs. Ralph Stringer of Wareham; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; a brother, Charles Franklin of Wareham and a sister Mrs. Frank Carman also of Wareham.
