Oberlin-Funeral service for Angelle Lejeune Durio, age 44, will be held at 1 p.m. on August 29, 2013 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Father Jacob S. Conner will officiate the service and burial will follow in Oaklin Springs Cemetery under the direction of Allen Parish Funeral Home, 119 S. 7th Street, Oberlin, Louisiana. The family will receive visitors at Allen Parish Funeral Home-Oberlin Chapel on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 from 4-9 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 6 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Angelle was a lifelong resident of Oberlin. She was a 1987 graduate of Oberlin High School and a 1989 graduate of McNeese State University. She was the Administrator of St. Frances Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Angelle loved life to the fullest. She was an avid "O.T." fan. She loved sports and was an all-around sports "mom". Angelle was a devoted mother, loving daughter, sister, aunt and godmother. Her caring and giving personality was known not only to her family but throughout the community, as well. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of many, especially her two sons whom she adored.

Those left to mourn her loss include her parents, Clement O. (C.J.) Lejeune, Jr. of Oberlin and Linda Monceaux Lejeune of Lafayette; two sons, Cameron Jude Durio and Jeffery Blaine Durio, both of Oberlin; one brother, Craig Joseph Lejeune and wife, Kathy of Oberlin; three sisters, Michelle Lejeune Simmons and husband, Jerry of Santa Fe, TX, Jacqueline Lejeune Hamilton and husband, Dick of Kinder, and Monique Lejeune Shaw of Lubbock, TX; seven nieces and nephews-Tabatha, Cristy, Cindy, Blake, Ashleigh, Taylor and Sara; and nine great nieces and nephews-Jada, Katie, Shelbie, Hunter, Caleb, Nathaniel, Harper, Madison and Aniston.

Angelle is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Clement and Dorothy Lejeune; maternal grandparents, Percy and Gertie Monceaux; and, two uncles, Kenneth and Steve Monceaux.
