William S. Reese Sr, passed away quietly on August 26, 2013 after a prolonged illness at the Artman Lutheran Home Hospice Care Center, Ambler, PA. He was 85 years old. Bill graduated from Lower Merion High School in 1946 and from Drexel University in 1957 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He was a lifelong Eagles and Phillies fan and was an avid reader (Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Anne Perry) and Golfer, enjoying watching Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicholas. William enjoyed playing golf at many famous courses around the world. Bill and Louise spent most of their retirement traveling around the world and spending time with their beloved grandchildren. He was the son of the late Sheron and Madelyn Reese and the husband of the late Louise Conaway Reese. He was the proud father of William S. Reese Jr (Karen) of Ambler and Richard J. Reese of Conshohocken. He was the proud grandfather of Melissa Ann and Andrew James. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery Roslyn, with his brother-in-law Walter Mannherz officiating. Services will be private.

William S Reese, Sr. of Maple Glen, PA, passed away on August 26, 2013 at Artman Lutheran Home at the age of 85.
He was born in Philadelphia on February 17, 1928 the son of Sheron A and Madlyn A Reese. He was married to Louise Conaway Reese for 54 years. He graduated in 1946 from Lower Merion High School and went on to graduate from Drexel University in 1957.
William worked as a Construction Engineer for Philadelphia Electric Company (not PECO) for 41 years until his retirement on August 1, 1989. He was a member of the Church of The Messiah, Gwynedd, PA.
He is survived by his sons William S Reese, Jr. of Ambler PA and Richard J Reese of Conshohocken, PA. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private. Memorials may be sent to Artman Lutheran Home, 250 N Bethlehem Pike, Ambler PA 19002.
