Betty Jane McQuirt, age 86, of Hilliard, born in Masonville, NY April 23, 1927, passed away August 26, 2013.

Graduated from Oneonta New York High School Class of 1944. She came to Ohio in 1947 and moved to Hilliard, OH on May 30, 1960.

Member and officer of Moose Lodge 1076, Hilliard, OH and member and officer of American legion Post 614 Auxiliary Hilliard, OH. She will be remembered for her volunteer work starting in 1956 where she drove for The Ohio State University Cancer Clinic for 4 years taking patients to and from treatments and later volunteering at the Moose and American Legion.

She was awarded the Helen Geese Certificate of Appreciate and Bible in 1997.

Preceded in death by sister Dorothy 1956, brother Raymond 1997 and mother Marie Maxim born March 1897and passing in 1998, over 100 years old.

Survived by daughters Dorothy McClain and Patricia Ann Hamilton of Columbus, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many good friends.

Following Betty's wishes, cremation has taken place.

A celebration of life service will be held 8 pm Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at the Hilliard Moose 1076.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hilliard Moose Children's Fund.
