William R. Lister

PAROWAN--William Rogerson Lister, 73, died here Thursday following a long illness.

He was born here in May, 1863, son of John and Sarah Ann Rogerson Lister. He spent most of his life in Parowan.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Dora Clark Lister; a son, Elwyn Lister: a daughter, Mrs. Annette L. Hardy, all of Fillmore; three brothers, John Lister, Panguitch; Richard Lister, Mt. Emmons, and Joseph E. Lister, Paragonah: four sisters, Mrs. Eliza L. Norton and Mrs. Delia L. Norton, Panguitch; Mrs. Susie Armstrong and Mrs. Ellen Bettridge, Parowan: also two half-sisters, Mrs. Estella L. Hallman, Cedar City and Mrs. Naomi Davis, Midway.

Funeral services were conducted in the West ward chapel Saturday, with interment in Parowan City cemetery.
