In Memory of My Great Great Grandfather. I received the picture showing the name and their relationship. Due to the name repeated by multiple Generations, uncertain if this is actually Ferdinand Andreas Stemme that died in 1903. It could be his son or grandson.

Please Note—-His interment location is based upon the 'Attached ' Deed. His Death Certificate reads Coleman Cemetery. As did his obituary.

His Obituary lists interment Coleman Cemetery.

Known Facts: The son named Ferdinand arriving to New York with his Father in Dec. 1869 , full name is Ludwig Christoph Ferdinand Stemme possibly Sr as this name repeats in this Stemme Family. [ His full Name given on his Naturalization Record obtained from Missouri ].

Also, Known Fact: For Genealogy Purposes, it is noted another son named Alwin arrives to New York USA with following Stemme family: Augusta age 35, probable Highly this is their birth mother, female child, Lina/Lena Stemme age 9, female child named Marie age 5, then Male child, Alwin age 4. They departed Bremen Germany. However, I can not locate Augusta returning from USA to Germany nor a marriage, nor records of children. I do find Alwin Hermann Stemme married Eliose Packer, living in MO, left to CT, and NJ. He fathered daughter's with wife Eloise Alwin has a patten right to a cuff button which led to the cuff link.

Emil Stemme [ his birth is mistranscribed on Ancestry as Annie Stenne. As I cannot locate his birth only that of the Annie. ]

1891– 1926 died St Louis MO *. Burial per Her Daughter, Lucille, my Grandmother , Lillian was on Olive Street at " Uncle Charles Stemme home place, which is my understanding no longer in the Stemme family ( sold) in talking with Dauster Family

Per my Grandmother, Lucille Lillian Price the Family Reunions held on Olive Street., In MO. The older Stemme men, spoke in German as they gathered smoking cigars with the men; ]

Re: Lillian Anne Stemme Price , per her daughter, Lucille Lillian Price Green, recalls attending a funeral for her mother, Lillian, at the Charles Stemme farm on Olive Street. The farm stayed in the Stemme family until., Mildred Lillian Stemme Dauster sold it prior to her death in 1993.

** Notice: It has come to my attention today 10 Tuesday March 2015, Received a telephone call from Jerry Price, cousin, he visited This Cemetery. He seen " old Upright Standing Headstones, removed and stacked away. Why? This devasted him as one could imagine.
These old German headstones stacked up to get destroyed? I pray there is another side to this.
