Cecil M. Allen Services to be Held Thursday

Cecil M. Allen, Sr., 69, Bonham Route 2, died in a Bonham hospital at 4:35 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, 1969.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Wise chapel with the Rev. Ray Boykin, pastor of the Ector United Methodist church, officiating. He will be assisted by the Rev. O. R. Carry of Bonham and the Rev. Morris Robbins of Boyd, Baptist ministers. Interment will be in Carson cemetery at Ector.

Mr. Allen, a farmer and textile worker, was born at Ector Sept. 5, 1899.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Orma Allen of the home; two sons, Cecil Allen, Jr. of Bonham and Ernest Allen of Dallas; a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Goff of Bonham, Route 2; three sisters, Mr. Ruby Nation of Altus, Okla., Mr. Zenobia Potts of Denison and Mrs. Ethel Duncan of Bells, six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
