Garland Eugene "Gene" Dalton, 65, of 1985 Snider Lane, Pulaski, died Saturday, Oct. 7, 1995 in the Radford Community Hospital.

Born in Pulaski on May 6, 1930, he was the son of the late William H. Dalton and Nellie Thomas Dalton.

He was a former employee of Virginia Wilbert Vault Co., Pulaski.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Lowell M. Dalton.

Surviving are three sisters, Elsie Cook, Emily Guynn, and Aileen Kemp, all of Pulaski; three brothers, Wilmer W. Dalton and Marvin W. Dalton, both of Pulaski, and Cecil H. Dalton of Rising Sun, Md.; special friend, Wilma Cosper of Pulaski; and her two sons, Ernest Moore and Steven Moore, both of Pulaski.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday from the Stevens Funeral Chapel, Pulaski, with the Rev. Dale Akers and the Rev. Kim Goddard officiating. Burial will follow in the Thornspring Cemetery, Pulaski County. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski. Stevens Funeral Home Inc., Pulaski, is in charge of arrangements.
