He had farmed near Swanton and operated a filling station there before moving to Crete in 1951. He is survived by a son, Glenn of Illinois; three sisters, Mrs. Josephine Houser, Wilber; Mrs. Rose Vavra, Crete; Mrs. Clara Franklin, Crete and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia and five sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday ,from the Zajicek Funeral Home in Wilber with Rev. Paul Quackenbush presiding. Burial will be at the Bohemian Cemetery. Zajicek Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
