HAMILTON Theresa M. Bolla, 85, passed away Monday in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
Born in Trenton, Mrs. Bolla was a lifelong area resident and graduate of Trenton High School, class of 1941. She retired from the State of New Jersey, Department of Education, in 1988 after 27 years of service and had also worked at Party Fair for 17 years. She was a member of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, where she also participated in their Family Life program for 13 years, and the Trenton Housing Authority.
Mrs. Bolla enjoyed baking, cooking, needlepoint, reading, and going to Atlantic City and the Jersey Shore, but especially loved spending time with her family.
Daughter of the late George and Theresa Singler Schwartz, she is survived by her husband Louis Bolla; two daughters, Debbie Bolla and her partner Marita Pepper, and Donna Meyers and her husband Robert; her son, Dennis Bolla and his wife Penny; her sister, Frances Ondrushek and her husband Frank; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Gregory, Adam and his wife Jolene, Aaron, and Jordyn; her great-grandchildren, Owen and Caden; and several nieces and nephews.
